Do What You Can 10-09-2021

As human beings, we all have limitations. Thankfully, God does not have the same limitations that we do. In fact, the only limitations He has are the ones we put on Him by pushing Him away and choosing not to believe. There are no limits to what God can do with hearts and lives that are fully surrendered to Him. Do what you can, and trust God with the results. –Pastor Denny Grady

High IQ Not Required 10-02-2021

“Jesus chose the simple and unaccomplished disciples to follow Him so that the love of God and the work of the kingdom would be undeniably evident in an unbelieving world. In the same manner, you and I make excellent object lessons of the depth of God’s grace and the scope of His power.” -Pastor Denny Grady

Immediate Action Required

What does God’s transformative kingdom require? Service to Jesus reminds us that it’s not a part-time commitment, a feeling, or a spectator sport. We might need to adopt a whole new vision. We might need to abandon our original plan and head off with Him in a new direction. “Follow me”, Jesus says–your immediate action is required. -Pastor Denny Grady

Straight Away 9-18-2021

“Do you feel like you’re walking in circles and in repetitive patterns? John the Baptist was tasked with preparing straight paths for the coming Messiah by preaching repentance of sin (turning away) and a baptism of life change. Jesus will steer us in straight paths if we will let Him, and He will strengthen us along the way for the journey.”

Touched 9-11-2021

Jesus always chooses the most personal ways to heal and minister to people. Jesus touches the untouchables and transforms them into something exceptional! He actively seeks us out in our most unlovable, untouchable form and woos us to Him. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are less than anything but a beloved child of God. Come to Him–now, today, it’s never too late! – Dr. Seth Pierce

Living with God’s Somehow 9-04-2021

Hebrews 11 is referred to as the Hall of Faith in the Bible. As we read about the Bible heroes listed there, how do we step out in faith into God’s “somehow” like they did? Noah would probably advise us to “perform before the storm,” Abraham’s advice could be to “go before you know,” and Moses would most likely advise us to “keep our eyes on the prize.” Let’s take a closer look together at these leaders and themes. –Pastor Denny Grady

What’s in Your Wallet? 8-28-2021

“What’s in YOUR wallet? What does your money say to you? Money is a major factor in focusing our lives. Is there meaning in our spending and giving? God asks us to give faithfully and generously, and He is faithful to care for us now, just as He always has.” –Pastor Denny Grady

Have You Tasted My Jesus?

“How do you know what something tastes like unless you actually eat it? In the same way, how do you know what Jesus is like unless you’ve personally tasted and seen that He is good (Ps. 34:8)? Eating meals requires constantly returning to the table, and the same is true for being spiritually fed and remaining full. Give Jesus a try for yourself–and keep going back for more!” –Pastor Denny Grady

Stones, Sand, Sin & Salvation 8-07-2021

Think about this: God’s laws are written in stone–they’re permanent (Ex. 20). Our sins have been written in sand (John 8)–they’re forgivable and temporary through repentance and acceptance of Jesus’s salvation and sacrifice. Even more amazing, is the fact that each of our names is not written on stone tablets or in the sand, but on the very palms of His hands (Is. 49:14-16). Jesus is the Rock who became sin for us and carries us in His hands. –David Denton
